We had a Happy Halloween! Here we are all dressed up for our ward Trunk-or-Treat. If you can't tell, Aliah is in a little monkey suit that I made for Addy when she was just 11 months old.
This was Halloween night. I dressed up the girls and we went trick or treating. Aliah isn't in her monkey costume because it was too warm outside. Yes, I said too warm, for all those family members in Utah and Idaho to hear!

Sweet Addy
Sweet Addy comes into bed with me most mornings. This morning I kept jolting awake when her hair would tickle my nose or elbow hit my head. But I was so tired I just would go right back into the same dream. So while I was dreaming I was vaguely aware that there was the sound of a t.v. tray somewhere near by. The next thing I know Addy is waking me up telling me she has brought me breakfast in bed. I sit up and smile wide as she has made me a thickly slathered with peanut butter piece of bread and a stack of like 8 oreos. She then ran down stairs and got me a cold glass of water and skipped in saying, "You know Mom, you can share the Oreos if you want to."
I smiled, I don't think I can ever remember eating oreos for breakfast. So the whole family shared the oreos (really kiddos) and I ate the peanut buttered bread. I actually dipped the oreos in the peanut butter on the bread because the spread was so thick!
I was super yummy! Thank you, Addy! You are the best.
Oh, and to top it all off, she collected all the white hair flowers and decorated my hair. I still have it in.

"Just doin' what you told me, Mom."
When Addy was about 18months old, we were driving in the car and she had a messy face from eating something. I handed her a wet wipe and asked her if she could 'wipe her mouth'. She somewhat reluctantly took the wipe from my hand. I figured she was old enough to start doing it on her own and turned back around. I turned around about 30 seconds later to see if she had wiped all the food off. I felt so bad when I saw my little girl with a disgusted and hurt look in her eyes as she stared back at me as she was wiping her tongue. (She was wiping her mouth out!)
It makes me smile at how simply kids look at the world. I also forget how literal and serious they take all the words we say to them.
The picture below is funny. I asked Addy if she could use my new vacuum/broom we call, Ergo and vacuum 'underneath' the table. So she did!
