Corbin got so excited sitting in my lap as I put these pictures on. He began talking to his screen self and laughing, it was so cute. He is such a happy baby and makes me laugh and smile all day long.

"Arya is the Cat's Meow" Birthday Party

We had the funnest time at Arya's 5th Birthday Party!

She doesn't turn 5 until the 13th, but we had her party a couple of weeks early in case this baby boy decides to make an early appearance into the world. The Hello Kitty is a night-light and her necklace is a bracelet for Arya.

All turned into Kitty's. We played a scavenger hunt and found all the parts that make up a kitty and then decorated the girls.

Love Potion #9.....

So Addy came home yesterday with a secret...she was going to make a love potion for a boy she and her friend Payton like. She said  Payton and her were going to get "online" and look one up. So, sworn to secrecy, I may not tell who the boy is, but I must say it didn't quite sink in just how serious Addy was until she came home today and started...the love potion. Addy was so excited to show me her list the second she arrived home, so I quickly glanced over it, trying to make out her words. I said something like, "Oh, how nice, Honey." Then after chatting with my friend who had dropped Addy off, said good-bye and shut the door. By this time Addy and Arya were running around the kitchen gathering supplies and Arya whining that she couldn't find a clean cup of her own. I asked Addy what she was doing, so unfolds the scene below. 

"What are you doing?" I asked. 

"Making Love Potion, of course." Replied Arya, as Addy busily worked on adding the sweet honey. 

Well spoon fulls of sugar and honey later the potion was complete. I asked Addy what she was going to do with the potion and she said she had to get the boy she liked to drink it. (The lovely, Love Potion is still sitting on my counter.) She thinks she is going to take it to school tomorrow. 

Then, I casually asked, Arya why she wanted her own glass of the potion and she replied that she would give it to Chase. (The only boy in her preschool class. Oh, great! She on the band-wagon too, now!) Arya was also distraught about not knowing how to get Chase to drink the potion, too. 

These cute girls make me laugh, I just hope they really don't go really boy crazy on me too soon! They are two peas in a pod when they are together though.

Snow White

Twice a year, my friends and I try to take our girls to the Hale Center Theater to see their children's plays. Snow White was by far my favorite. Arya loves the Snow White movie, and though the plays aren't the Disney version, this one kept us laughing and thrilled. Addy was literally on the edge of her seat, dancing, moving and or hanging on my arm in suspense. Arya on the other hand was completely zoned into the actors and didn't move a muscle for the entire play. (And that is very un-Arya like to be sedentary for more than 30 seconds.)
